Photographs, when sent over text, are only one snapshot of a whole environment. I've made two acrylic paintings on three-by-five-foot canvas, chosen to mimic the long body of a phone screen. My works are based on collages made up of photos shared with me from friends and family. Creating imaginary landscapes that we share across distances that represent and are the way I continue to build the bonds with those I love.
