Intersectionality as Belonging

The work I have created over this year explores intersecting identities and the spaces where they can exist. I have designed several artifacts in varying mediums that represent this and communicate the experience of holding multiple identities. My project is informed by research on diaspora and the significance of identity, and my artifacts connect these themes with different elements of culture. This includes exploration of language, fashion, and personal space.
