Smile! You’re on Camera is a series of painted collages using elements from my own accumulated photographs. The paintings explore what factors connect pictures taken at different times and how each collection of photos legibly displays my personal life.They also consider the differences between photographed moments and lived memories and what it means to remember moments within the forced frame of an iPhone camera.
