Distilling Nature

I explore making inks from foraged materials to be used in my printmaking practice. The process of foraging is an eco-friendly and sustainable practice that also creates time for me to connect with nature, a type of meditation that helps with my mental illness. Collecting natural ingredients and turning them into usable materials becomes just as important to me as the end result which is a series of prints and zines with all the information I have gathered over the course of this project.
