"On Cats" is a 4th-year Illustrative Painting assignment inspired by an anthology of poems by Charles Bukowski under the same name. Sleeping in sunbeams and going about their day completely as they see fit is what I wanted to capture. Being inspired by the mundane day-to-day, I wanted to show that the human experience simply does not phase them, they are just too busy being cats.
