Dear Charlotte is many different things to me; it is an expanded painting made from found objects and recycled goods; it’s a community hub and a place for connection; it’s a feeling; it’s campy and fun; it’s an extension of my being, the dollhouse of my soul, my identity, that manifests in an inherently transgender space; it’s a queer space; it’s ever changing and adapting; it’s about making yourself feel at home in your own body; it’s acceptance; it is the ultimate home.
