"Were My Gogo Boots too provocative?"

Interpreting various common reactions to accounts of sexual assault from the perspective of survivors; exploring themes of rape culture, re-victimisation, and shame, these motifs are juxtaposed by visuals inspired by midcentury aesthetics to invite the viewer to contemplate their own attitudes towards sexual assault and the ways in which our culture perpetuates harmful narratives about survivors.
