Figurative

In this ongoing body of works, I explore themes of humanity, objectivity, and identity through the representation and manipulation of the human form. After capturing gestures and details through live model sessions, I subtract and add information afterward that encourages a sense of play between the imitation and distortion of reality. this play between true representation and manipulating said representation is inherent when producing art, especially when reflecting the human form.
