The Filtered Series is an on-going series of paintings depicting confrontational portraiture of unique individuals, each filtered with a different classic Instagram story filter. This series speaks to the over-comsumption of each others personas online. What tries to sell itself as authenticity is in reality a highly curated, filtered and edited image of oneself, projected and consumed over and over.
