01 For Jurying Consideration

The title for the work above, “return address”, positions my practice as a place that is personal and inwards. Drawing is what I come back to again and again when I feel the most lost, and by creating this personal world, I find solace by my own making. My abstract drawings are constructed using patterns and motifs that inform one another, creating surfaces that feel alien, but comforting at the same time.
