Sphere and Cube, Salt and Pepper Cellers: Close Dining Relationships
This body of work explores the following intimate dining relationships: solo dining, romantic relationships, family and friendships. Through the process of silversmithing, the maker explores the minimalistic geometric forms of spheres and cubes, each shape represents an individual included in their respected dining experience. Jiang visualizes these intimate experiences through the forms of salt and pepper cellars as a universal cue and necessity to enjoyable dining.
