Handmade Natural Inks

These are a continuation of my thesis work. I want others to be able to use the inks I have spent time perfecting. It was important that my ink bottles also reflected my printmaking practice and are entirely inspired by my thesis. They feel like little works of art on their own.

Silver Lining

Handmade ink created sustainably in small batches. This silver-grey ink is made from acorn caps and scrap iron. All of the acorns are harvested locally and ethically in Canada.

Black Walnut Ink

Handmade ink created sustainably in small batches. This warm brown is made from the hulls of black walnuts harvested in late autumn. All walnuts have been harvested locally and ethically in Canada.

Dionysus's Choice

Dionysus is the Greek God of wine so it is fitting that this brilliant purple comes from riverbank grapes. Handmade ink created sustainably in small batches. All of the grapes are harvested locally and ethically in Canada.

Stay Golden

Handmade ink created sustainably in small batches. This bright yellow ink is made from Canadian goldenrod collected mid-autumn. All of the goldenrod has been harvested locally and ethically in Canada.
