A Moment of Truth

My work questions the performance of gender through mythological metaphors of hybridity, mutation, and the fluidity of form. I explore themes of vulnerability and power in relation to how authenticity emerges through performed identities and culturally shaped gendered experiences. Drawing parallels between intersectional feminism and the representation of horses throughout modernity, art, and history, I examine these relationships through an existential lens of being and becoming.
