"01 for Jurying Consideration" (PAINTINGS)

Through a series of paintings, animated with embroidery, I reflect my sense of diasporic belonging by combining my Palestinian heritage, and personal images. Transnational experiences that depict the loss and celebration of my culture are addressed, depicting erasure of language and cultural traditions.
