Extremophile

Watercolour and Photoshop (2019 - 2020, OCAD U Illustration Thesis) [ex·trem·o·phile] a living thing that can thrive in an extreme environment. In Extremophile, the humans who live in extreme environments are replaced by living organisms who thrive in those conditions. This is to remind us of the fragility of human beings and how even though we may be at the top of the food chain, we are easily replaceable and susceptible to extreme changes in our environments.
