Thesis: Nocturnal Translations

Nocturnal Translations are a series of photo-polymeric relief prints that stem from the core concept of lucid dreams, nightmares, and sleeping disorders. Using excerpts from my dream journal, they are digitally transcribed as miniature illustrations on paper. Each print incorporates the use of positive and negative space which portrays a different story through composition alone. The precision of the imagery creates a sense of the fictional world.
