Robin Riad is a Toronto based experimental filmmaker, animator and video artist, with a BFA in Integrated Media: Digital Painting and Expanded Animation at OCAD University. Riad works primarily with analog mediums, specifically 16mm and Super8 film. She is inspired by critical theory surrounding feminist and queer literature and experiences. Riad currently enjoys experimenting with her filmmaking when she's not at work, and working on her thesis film. Aside from her filmmaking practice, Riad enjoys drawing portraiture and photography.
