“'Shameless' Escape is a series of illustrations that imagines scenarios of people fantasizing and escaping from reality overdose, indicating that humans need retreat and fantasy to discharge real-life tension and anxiety. ”
Tianshu Kuai is a Chinese illustrator based in Toronto. A large focus of her work is on editorial subject matters about cultural, social and mental concerns. She is preoccupied with delicate and detailed lines work and whimsical colour combinations (also an obsession with green colour subconsciously) in storytelling.
