“I'm an aspiring UX designer who strives to create delightful user experiences. My favourite part about this work is that I'm able to see an intimate snapshot of someone's life for a moment - understanding what their hopes, pain, and aspirations are. Solving design problems by connecting with people to truly understand what they need is the most enriching part of what I do.”
I am a curious designer with a background in qualitative research and biomedical sciences. I have always been interested in problem-solving and learning about others and after my encounters with the health system, I began wondering what I could do to improve the healthcare experience. This brought me to the Design for Health program where my eyes were further opened to the lack of patient voices and prevalence of top-down approaches found in healthcare. I enjoy solving the complex problems found throughout the healthcare system with thoughtful design and being a champion for users. In my free time, I enjoy perfecting my cheesecake recipe, building mechanical keyboards, and visiting cute cafes.
