“Earthly Delights: Thinking Through Drawing makes sense of the different ways through which people remain part of rather than separate from the natural world, a world that often goes overlooked. I propose an imaginable call to action through the method of care.”

Laurel McLeod explores, through drawing, an expanded conception of nature, creating both small and large scale works on paper and silk. Having completed her BA at the University of Guelph she has recently completed her MFA at OCAD University in the Interdisciplinary Master's in Art, Media and Design program. McLeod has participated in the Florence Contemporary Residency (2019) and the group exhibition, C0R3, at Gallery 1313 (2019).
