“Yingqi Xu is a current architectural designer who seeks for further professional architecture education and practices. She aims to design from the history, the environment and our time to create future projects. ”
Yingqi Xu has been an international student in Canada since she was 16 years old. She was born and raised in Suzhou, China -- a city with world heritage classical gardens and architecture. She has traveled to Japan a dozen times to experience their design language. These places and culture edifies her comprehensive and inclusive identity and design language. Yingqi is graduating this April from Environmental Design, OCAD University. She aims to start practices in the field and continue to pursue a professional degree in architecture.
