Aimee Xiao is a Chinese-Canadian illustrator and creative. She is very inspired by her appreciation for nature and psychology, her work revolves around themes of self-improvement, personal growth, and human connection to nature. Her OCADU Thesis series "Unfamiliar Familiars" is a collection of illustrations that imagines and considers the presence and energy of national animals as familiars that assist witches in magic for good and selfless purposes.
