Nuclear Family

14" x 9"
A small family of creatures have taken refuge in a nuclear waste barrel, finding the paved, concrete surface uninhabitable for them.
“"Nuclear Family" Comments on our own halfhearted attempts at covering up problems we've caused. it references "Long-term nuclear waste warning messages", a series of hypothetical solutions to warning future generations about the locations in which nuclear waste has been buried. By hypothetically implementing these measures, many ultimately suggest further destruction in order to deter future generations of these toxic locations. One suggestion being that a large, concrete city would be constructed above a site that these toxic barrels would be located, to ensure nobody goes near it. this situation brings into question the lengths we will go to in covering our failures, sometimes destroying more in a vain attempt to look out for those after us.”
