2024 Themed Student Public Art Exhibition, facilitated by Tommy Truong. Explores the theme of community in Yonge and Dundas Square. Animation collaborate with Yiwen Su

“On the Way is a series of narrative 2D animation about the community around Yonge-Dundas Square. The series includes two animations, each part of the animation is 15 seconds long. The main theme of the animation explores the history and diversity about the community in this area. The plot focusing on the two characters, representing different eras, walking on the sidewalk of YDS Square and as they turn around, they switch to their own special work scenes. The title On the Way refers to the millions of people walking pass the sidewalk of YDS everyday as well as the path of the history of YDS from past to future. The goal for this project is to picture the community of the place we are living in.”
