“This thesis analyzes the existing poverty, unsafe housing construction and restricted public access in the Barrios of Petare, Caracas. The project includes the construction of housing units that are affordable, and adaptable to the current and future demands of the residents. Additionally, this the neighbourhood will become the new plan guide with enhanced circulation for both pedestrians and vehicles for a safer community. The design also encourages Petare's unique identity by incorporating public spaces to gather, featuring family-owned businesses, and celebrating local traditions and art. The word Bululú captures the colourful, busy atmosphere of a densely POPULATED Venezuelan area that is buzzing with energy and dynamic remarks. By presenting these interventions, it aims to provide a better living condition for the locals where they can live comfortably and have a place where they feel proud to call "home".”
