““From then to now," I explore my artistic growth during my time at OCADU. Each painting holds a piece of my story, revealing the twists and turns of my evolution. Front and center is the Phoenix—a symbol of rising from tough times. Behind the Phoenix is a painting from my chemotherapy days. It's a mess of colors—purple, blue, and black—a reminder that beauty can come from struggle. Then there's the painting from last summer, where I played with new colors and ideas. It's a sign of how much I've grown as an artist. I chose these paintings intentionally. They represent my journey—where I've been and where I'm headed. And now, I'm trying something new: digital art. It's a big leap for me, but it feels like the next step in my evolution. This project isn’t easy. It took me about 10 hours of learning and error using Photoshop. But it's real, just like my journey through OCADU—full of ups, downs, and lots of learning.”
