'Waste' examines the human and environmental toll that the predominance of the passenger vehicle extracts, using imagery from oil, gas, and plastic industries, as well as inspiration from overhead photography of earth-mineral mines for EV batteries such as lithium and cobalt. Acrylic paint, leather strips, and wood carving on wrecked plastic hubcap.
