Game cards, Propylene, Acrylic

This work centers on the image of a heart, reconstructed through soft material and fragile surfaces. The form suggests a body under intervention, echoing the visual language of surgery and repair. At its core, a structure appears, holding the heart together, yet it is not purely medical. The internal support is composed of transformed game cards from Halli Galli, a game associated with speed, laughter, and spontaneous reaction. These elements introduce a different rhythm into the body, one that resists stillness and control.By placing play within a space of treatment, the work shifts the meaning of healing. It moves away from a purely physical process and opens toward emotional activation, memory, and human connection. The heart becomes more than an organ. It becomes a site where vitality is negotiated, where recovery is not only about survival, but about the possibility of feeling again.
“When did we stop feeling our hearts race?In a time where emotions grow dull and distant,I rebuild the heart not only as an organ, but as a space for connection, play, and vitality. Can joy, memory, and human interactionbe a different kind of cure?”
