Sliding Slope

As I am someone who works with interior spaces and environmental elements, it is important to understand the impact of lighting and how it can change a space. This project demonstrates how by adding a single element, the lamp, a space can fully transform and become uniquely yours. By using an LED lightbulb which can change colors, via an app, the space being illuminated can become cozy, warm, welcoming or cool, distant and stressful. Overall, this project was made to further my understanding of lighting and its influence on environments.

This type of lighting facilitates a smooth transition from the activity of the day to a restful evening, promoting relaxation and preparing the body for sleep”
