Experimental Typography

“A miniature installation piece designed to mimic an interwoven typographic form. The initial concept I decided to use the Farsi / Dari words for love and peace and interweave them with the English translation. I ran into many issues with this first design because of the structural differences between the two written languages, they didn’t flow in a organic way and the strict English type heavily dominated the organic calligraphic look of Farsi. I was advised to use another language that was similar to the calligraphic look of Farsi and decided to use the Mandarin words for Love and peace.”
