The Twinheart table

This was a neglected piece of a walnut cookie slab that was left at value village. It had previous repair work done to it, however needed more. If you look closely you can see that the centre of the cookie actually consists of 2 centre cores, hence the inspiration for the name "Twinheart". The walnut legs were custom designed to slide together joined by a half lap joint in the centre and secured to the table top using buttons underneath. Three cherry butterfly keys were installed to hold the large crack in place.
