Breedbate

“Breedbate” means “One looking for a fight or argument; a troublemaker” or “One who causes quarrels.” This semester-long project consists of four components: a 2D, 3D, 4D, and reflective piece. The 2D piece is a book that argues with itself, an analysis of a human being, or a breedbate. The 3D piece represents how their quarrels sometimes have no logical reasoning behind them; people cause trouble just cause they can. I have received many interpretations of this piece, which only contribute to my intent of the breedbate's nonsensical nature. The 4D piece is an original card game inspired by Uno and Cards Against Humanity. It is designed for players to be a breedbate themselves and initiate chaos through given prompts. The logo is based on the expression “putting a spanner in the works.” The reflective piece is a journal with compositions representing my (messy) process.
