70 Days of Type: Taag

Graphic Design
2025
project where one typographic form is made once a day, for 70 days. The word is a random combination of letters, and eventually the exploration is broken down into individual letters within the form.

“Once the 70 forms were complete, each letter/form is laser engraved on squares of 3mm basswood ply, each square displaying one form on each side. The goal of displaying the type in this way was to see how each form would be affected by texture, physical form, and depth. The raw wood also allows for an eventual patina to show over time as more people handle the pieces.
