Breathable Architecture Built to Sustain, Designed to Breathe

“This thesis aims to demonstrate how architectural space can generate purification of air quality within and around its urban landscape by developing a living relationship between the interior and exterior environments through the expression of material, light and form. This is in response to health and environmental ramifications of air pollution on vulnerable communities and includes integrating responsive facades, like microalgae panels, moss wall systems and more - transforming a built form into breathable architecture.”
