This piece focuses on the issues regarding censorship in my home country of the Philippines. President Duterte, notorious for his war on drugs and his command to imprison and even slaughter any and all drug users and sellers, caused the deaths of thousands during his first 100 days of presidency. This ongoing issue caused many news agencies to criticize his actions. However, this would not stop him as those critics would be quickly persecuted and imprisoned for false charges. This piece shows Antonio Trillanes being escorted by the police during his arrest.
