Behind The Scenes - Stop Motion

Crayons was made with top-down stop motion animation as well as different props and scenarios to directly represent each stage of life. I chose to use stop motion to express the tangibility of creative actions, such as colouring and drawing, as bridges to memories. By using the top view of a table as the base of the scenario, it allowed simple actions to show the character’s personality beyond that context, through the change in props, rhythm, and movement.
