When is a Door Not a Door
Photography

This photography book is a visual juxtaposition between multiple types of houses and the unnoticed signs of life around them. While some people see an abandoned house as a playground meant to be vandalized, others see it as a real estate product, a lucrative object that can be sold and easily rebuilt. However, others see houses as a place of shelter, comfort and protection. No matter the house and its condition, signs of life will always be present, along with narratives waiting to be told. The work's provocative title invites us to question our different views and biases towards houses and the concept of home.
“It is a poetic exploration of the different definitions of home. ”
