This project is an interactive skull installation designed to playfully discourage people especially children, from damaging plants in residential areas. Inspired by Halloween displays in Toronto, the installation uses ultrasonic sensors to detect nearby movement and responds by rotating a skull toward the detected direction while illuminating its eyes with LEDs. Built using an Arduino Uno, a servo motor, and a custom 3D-printed hollow structure, the system combines physical fabrication techniques like laser cutting and soldering with beginner-level coding to create a responsive, engaging object. The final design balances humor and functionality, transforming a common neighborhood issue into an interactive and memorable experience that encourages more mindful behavior.
