Group Exhibition at Gallery 44 March 28th - June 1st

“Shedding Heaviness is an allusive observation on the passage of life, spirituality, the body, and our inner self. Through their distinct and divergent approaches to photography, sound and installation, Julianna A.S., Delali Cofie and Kourtney Jackson experiment in describing these etheric, intangible states. I had 5 works featuring in this group exhibition. Four large scale 40" x 50" prints and one of the masquerade garments. This exhibition gave me an opportunity to create conversations between some images in the series, thinking about being Inside and outside and the roll of place in my project, whilst maintaining the thoughts about confrontation.Documentation photographs by Caeden Wigston”
