Topic: Melting Polar Ice Caps – Glaciers store about 70% of the world’s fresh water. As these glaciers melt, we are losing fresh drinking water, the sea levels will rise, extreme weather events will increasingly transpire, and species will drastically be eliminated.Common Human Activity/Object: Drinking water Synthesis: a polar bear is placed on top of a melting glacier trapped inside a pitcher. The pitcher itself is also a glacier that is holding fresh water, however, the crack on the pitcher is causing the water to spill out. This results in the flooding of the outside and loss of the drinking water. I have also included floating garbage within the water to reflect on pollution.

“Melting polar ice caps are contributing to freshwater depletion and the rise of global sea levels. ”
