Sculpture

Bronze, thermoplastic, cloth, fruits and snacks

“Sacred Bodies was one of the few works I was able to take home in Toronto beforethe closure of the studios at OCAD University due to the Covid-19 pandemic. At home, Iworked on the installation (fig. 31) of my bronze arms interacting with the 3D prints of myfamily photographs. I also offered fruits and snacks as I welcomed my ancestors into myhome. Now my ancestors live with me in Toronto as I carry their memory in my work. ”
