Animated Splash Screens

My first video of Workshop 2 and a first attempt at proper motion graphics. Mockup animated splash screens/loading screens for some common apps that don't have them.

“Starting with animated splash screens helped with both creative thinking as well as giving me a sense for professional pacing and smoothness of animation. Since splash screens are snappy, I added a loading sequence that could double for a loading screen but I mainly added them for extra practice. I knew I wanted to make a project like this due to my appreciation for various boot-up and loading screen animations that make downtime tollerable and seeing the success of animations all throughout Duolingo in easing people into language learning. The small comforts do a great deal in enhancing the user experience.”
