Fantasy

Fantasy brings about poetic composition with a symbol of a woman to discuss the multisensory emotional impact of anxiety, confusion, and depression with a resolve self-healing. Utilizing a video of a blooming rose, the artist mirrors the feelings and moods evoked by subtle performance. The artwork in this issue realigns experiences of struggle and detachment amid the negative influence of the media, referencing predominant female roles in anime – a weak, shy, and submissive object with hyper-sexualization.
