This is a women's top that was inspired by the large quantities of textile waste that I had accumulated from my sewing projects. This piece specifically aimed to give an idea of how much waste the textiles and fashion industry produce, which all eventually ends up in our landfills. I aimed to repurpose this excess material by machine embroidering it onto water-soluble stabilizers to show how all this waste was more than enough to create a whole new garment.
