This experimental poster, created for the "Trans and Queer Literature" course, responds to my research question about how Preciado’s “Testogel” conveys emotional complexity—fear, isolation, fluidity, and hope—and how these feelings can be transformed into visual form.My Unessay project is based on reading Paul B. Preciado’s Testo Junkie, focusing especially on the “Testogel” chapter to explore the emotional depth conveyed through the text. I was inspired by how honest and detailed Preciado’s description of his experience with testosterone use was. I created my poster by combining copyright-free images from Unsplash that metaphorically represent the emotions from the text with photographs of my sculpture, using Photoshop. I also made an abstract sculpture using glue, wire, and rings. I tried to express the emotions in the text as delicately as possible. Through my poster, I hope to portray even a small part of the emotional experience one faces when going through a transgender transition. Finally, I hope this poster educates people and allows them to be more understanding and accepting of trans folks.

“Preciado once described “writing as the only witness to his transition.”I hope that through my poster, Preciado’s emotions and story can reach even more people and continue living beyond”
