Soft undulating forms made from applying alternative shibari methods to memory foam blocks, brushed with acrylic and oil, then painted as oil studies on wood panel.

“From foraged parts emerge shrines which build up bodies into their contortion, their intricate and interdependent relations. Their exchange becomes whole, imbedded with power, spun into gold, and used to tie together parts and pieces unwanted. Bound and twisting and blushing with colour, bodies remember, bodies heal, bodies assume new form, illuminating the importance of keeping vibrant, grounded, soft.”
