The Longing of Immortality

My thesis work focuses on the idea of immortality, so my exploration of immortality revolves around 5 major aspects including science, biology, history, religion, and Chinese culture, and finally settled on the Chinese culture's understanding of Immortality of Worth, Work, and Words.The concept of immortality in Chinese thought, has taken the place of the idea of reincarnation or human survival after death. It has given the Chinese a sense of assurance that, although death will end his everything, the effect of his work, his thoughts, and his words will long remain after he is gone. So I want to point out a new way to prove that we can achieve "immortality" in our lives as ordinary people. As my research and exploration of this topic, it became clearer that the idea of immortality is not mysterious and impossible, and if we realize we can achieve immortality in some way, death is the reason we should enjoy our lives and it makes us feel motivated to face our lives.To read more about my process, click on the link below!
