A collaborative project set to design an AGO exhibit concept "Hip hop and contemporary art in the 21st century" designed with Yijia Li.
“Most examples of contemporary art and hip hop are people of colour more specifically the black community speaking up about different issues such as, racism, gender, sexuality or, police brutality. Most of the time these works can come off as very chaotic with lots of texture and colour, but despite this somewhat messy appearance the message of the work the message the artist is trying to convey is very clear. Using a collage style and bold imagery we hope to use our typography to clearly state our message with advertising and product design.”
