“This thesis project integrates Traditional Chinese Medicine within hospital care to explore how acupuncture, herbal remedies, and mindfulness practices are incorporated alongside conventional Western medical treatments, creating a coexistence in patient care. It envisions a tranquil environment where relaxation techniques, such as meditation and qi gong, complement modern medical interventions to alleviate stress and promote healing. The project includes an apothecary and research centre within the hospital, providing access to herbal remedies while enabling scientific exploration of their efficacy and safety. This project aims to deliver a comprehensive approach to patient-centered care, addressing physical well-being through a blend of medical and Chinese therapies. Emphasizing the unity between Eastern and Western practices highlights the importance of collaborative healthcare approaches that enhance patient outcomes. ”
