Located in Downtown Toronto, the rapid gentrification of the King and Spadina neighborhood has forced out those of lower class and caused an imbalance between social, environmental and economic factors. Problems such as unaffordable housing, hyper density, decrease in intimate social interactions were seen on the site. By restoring and re-designing the historical building at 460 King St. W, we wish to bring diversity in an attempt to balance and stabilize the community.
